4,200 ENVIRONMENTAL DRILLING PROJECTS…AND COUNTING
When you think about executing 4200 projects over a 22-year period, as our company has done, it’s almost impossible to come up with a situation we haven’t encountered or a problem we haven’t solved to complete those jobs successfully.
Since 1985, SGS Environmental Services, Inc. has helped set standards of excellence in environmental drilling. While other companies also provide non-environmental services, SGS made the decision to focus exclusively on environmental drilling and become the best in the industry.
We work directly with consulting engineers, industrial and pharmaceutical end users, chemical and petroleum facilities, and DOD and DOE agencies. With offices in West Creek, New Jersey and Baltimore, Maryland, SGS Environmental Services, Inc. serves clients along the Eastern Seaboard.
We Do the Job Right. We don’t take short-cuts. We make sure our crews have the right materials and equipment to complete your job successfully. When you invite us to bid on your project, we ask questions, lots of them. That homework upfront makes it possible for us to understand the environment we are drilling. Based on the geological setting, your goals and the results you require, we select the best drilling method and the best team and equipment to do the job economically. We work closely with you to fine-tune the project so that the results exceed your expectations.
You will discover that we are fanatical about customer service and will go out of our way to make sure your project is done correctly. We communicate with you regularly so you know what we are doing and what we might need from you to move the project along without delay.
Our Drilling Fleet SGS has a large and multi-disciplined drilling fleet that provides a variety of drilling techniques to serve our clients. Direct push equipment is used to perform economical soil and water sampling services. ATV-mounted direct push and full-size drill rigs are available for projects that have difficult access issues.
Our Experienced Staff All SGS Drilling Division staff has been trained in accordance with regulatory requirements of our industry and these of our clients. All employees are OSHA trained and medically monitored as per current OSHA regulations. All employees are enrolled in a Substance Abuse Program that requires pre-employment, annual, random, post accident and reasonable suspicion testing. SGS has a corporate and division health and safety program as well as a drilling safety handbook. All employees have had Loss Prevention Systems (LPS) training. SGS has “new hire” safety training.
